NSW top project home builder, Masterton Homes, has once again taken out prestigious honours at the Master Builders’ Association Awards. This time it received awards for two fantastic home designs; best home under $200k for the Overture and best home under $250k for the Merlot.
The Overture and Merlot have been flagship designs for Masterton since being introduced by the company earlier this year and are ongoing proof that Masterton understands the changing needs and trends in the market place and responds to them by continually innovating and updating. With over 49 years experience in the industry Masterton has repeatedly been awarded for its imagination and expertise and these two awards reflect the company’s commitment to delivering homes that will endure.
Jim Masterton, now in his 80’s, is the tireless leader of an organisation that he says thoroughly deserves the credit it achieves, “when I founded this company I believed in providing top quality, innovative housing for families at a price they can afford. Masterton has stuck to these basic principles and, as a result, has grown and remained constantly one of the top builders in NSW.”
Just like its name suggests, the new Masterton Overture is a home that combines all the best bits in one neat, affordable package. A compact, single storey that is just 12m wide, the Overture boasts everything that the experts in modern family living have perfected over the years. Yet it is the creative use of space in this home matched with smart design elements that provides for luxury and practicality in every day living.
The four-bedroom, two storey Merlot breaks new ground for Masterton Homes, being one of the most exciting, stylish and sophisticated designs available in today’s competitive marketplace. There are many subtle details that contribute to its overall appeal but it is the Merlot’s ability to deliver on the big picture that sets it apart from other similar size home designs. The Merlot offers the ultimate, imaginative use of space providing separate areas and zones which tick all the boxes required for family living; home theatre, secluded study, open-plan living and kitchen flowing onto al fresco dining and entertaining and a fantastic, spacious family bedroom and living upper floor area.
Both homes were designed by leading architect DeAngelis Taylor Associates.
