The screen will be the crowning jewel of your home theatre set up and really depends on individual preferences. There is always the temptation to get the biggest screen possible but actually, for an immersive experience, it’s best to fit the screen to your space. This will be determined by how far you can sit away from the screen as well as the viewing angle. Most experts agree suggest the viewing angle is best at between 30 to 40 degrees.
Your Masterton home is well built and this will help with the acoustics in your home theatre. You can also increase the perfection of sound by setting up a speaker system. In the perfect world your ears would be equal distance away from each speaker but the main thing to remember is if you have five full range speakers and one low range specialist (the woofer), three speakers and the woofer will be at the front of the room and the remaining two are best placed behind you. Speakers also need to be positioned a little away from the wall.
We all know how frustrating it is when you go to the movies and the seats are so awful you can’t get comfortable or concentrate on what’s going on up on the screen. If you truly want the best cinematic experience at home then, don’t forget to invest in some comfy armchairs or a fabulous lounge that you can sit back and relax in for a couple of hours. Also keep in mind that you should position your chairs before mounting your TV to ensure the viewing angle is at between 30 to 40 degrees.
Windows can reflect sound causing audio distortion and also let in light that can reflect off your viewing surface. To prevent this from happening you’ll need to invest in some good drapes and/or blinds.
All that’s left to do is make your popcorn, then sit back and relax for a full cinematic experience at home.
