The Tempus has now joined the ranks of Masterton’s award winning homes! At the inaugural 2015 HIA CSR NSW Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom award ceremony, the design won best display home in the $400,001-$500,000 category.
We were honoured and humbled to win and offer a huge congratulations to all other nominees in this category. It was tough competition and demonstrated the talent and ingenuity of the NSW building industry. Well done all!
The Tempus is a timelessly beautiful home that incorporates all the pleasures of modern living. The floorplan centres around family while the main living area features a large and stunning kitchen that’s a feature on its own. This space provides a stylish yet accessible hub to accommodate busy life and flows out to an optional alfresco area making the transition from indoor to outdoor living seamless. Entering the home you will notice doorways are concealed giving the Tempus a cozy and intimate feel all the way out to the open plan living and dining area.
The Judges were highly impressed with the Tempus design, floor plan and the lifestyle it can provide Australian families.
“A well-designed wide and open planned home, with high ceilings and spacious rooms, this display home has a good use of space and the flow onto the alfresco area makes the transition from indoor to outdoor seamless. This home would be well suited to the knockdown-rebuild market due to the width, but overall a pleasant surprise.”
Congratulating Masterton Homes on such an outstanding achievement, HIA Acting Executive Director – NSW, Sulfi Soeleiman, said the awards were a tremendous display of the housing industry’s capacity and innovation. He said;
“HIA is committed to recognising the outstanding achievements of our members. It is encouraging to see that support and commitment to excellence for these awards has yet again been remarkable. Each year a high calibre of entries is presented, reflecting the exceptional standard HIA members place on workmanship, innovation and design thereby raising the bar and making the judging all the more difficult.”
“Major winners tonight can look forward to progressing to HIA’s national awards next year and we wish them every success.”
